Join us! The ASID Foundation is working to increase its assets to $4 million by 2015, ASID’s 40th birthday. The 4 x 40 campaign seeks at least 250 ASID members to pledge $500 a year for the next five years. The trustees hope that you’ll consider this opportunity to give back to your profession by committing to the 4 x 40 campaign.

Your support will allow the ASID Foundation to make a broad range of grants and scholarships to designers, researchers and students whose work is impacting human behavior in the built environment.

In the past three years the ASID Foundation has been a major supporter of exciting and innovative programs:

1. *National Building Museum’s most attended exhibit “The Green House: New Directions in Sustainable Architecture and Design”
   

2. *Transform, a research grant program designed to enhance our understanding of design’s impact on the human condition, awarding up to three $35,000 grants
   

3. *The Council of Interior for Interior Design Accreditation’s (CIDA) Future Vision and Collaborative Strategies research initiative
   

4. *REGREEN, a collaboration with the US Green Building Council on residential green renovation
   

5. *Rebuilding Together Veterans Initiative, providing appropriate access to homes for veterans with disabilities
   

6. *Annual and biannual scholarships and awards for design students, educators and researchers
   

The ASID Foundation is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, therefore your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
