Make the ASID Foundation Part of Your Annual Giving Plan
I am writing to you on behalf of the Foundation Trustees and all the committed ASID members and others who have become part of the donors' circle of the ASID Foundation. Our supporters range from the second-year design student to the most accomplished professional. They give at all levels. They give what they can. The important thing is that they give.
Our outreach has broadened. Our impact on research and the scholarships we provide the profession are significant. We are on the cusp of great accomplishments.
What will be the tipping point? How do we secure the continued success of the Foundation in the years to come? There is one obvious answer...we need you. We need you to make the Foundation part of your annual giving plan.
Our 4 x 40 campaign is in its second year. If you haven't heard, we are trying to enroll 250 people passionate about design to commit $500 a year for 5 years by 2015. It is working, and we are a third of the way there. We have three more years to reach our goal, and I am optimistic that we can get there much sooner with your help.
December is the month that many of you decide on where your philanthropic dollars will go. We know that there are many personal causes that compete for your dollars. We all have our favorites. I am asking you to add the ASID Foundation to your list.
