Lunch and Learn at Bandicoot's Sept 8
ASID Maryland's September Lunch and Learn will be held Wednesday, September 8, 11:30 am to 1 :30 pm at Bandicoot Trading Company, 1816 Margaret Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401. Bandicoot Trading Company, an ASID Industry Partner, is bringing long-time furniture manufacturing rep Al Horine to speak at the Lunch and Learn, which is free for ASID members, and $10 for non-members and includes a light lunch.
No CEU is offered with this Lunch and Learn. Although the event is free, we must have your RSVP to reserve a space and let the hosts know how many to expect for lunch. Please RSVP asap, by Monday, September 6 at the latest, to kimasidmd@earthlink.net or 410-744-1121.

Mark your calendars now for the biggest event of the ASID Maryland year! The Chapter’s Annual Meeting and Awards Celebration is slated for Tuesday, September 21, 2010, 6 pm, at the Rusty Scupper Restaurant in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. At this spectacular dinner event, we will honor our outstanding members, meet incoming board members and present the awards in our annual design competition. There will be a large silent auction and the design competition boards will be on display. Don’t miss it!
We are currently accepting donations of items for the Silent Auction from designers and Industry Partners. We accept merchandise or coupons for services. Gift cards, restaurant gift certificates, concert or sports tickets are also welcome. Donors will be recognized in the evening’s program and in the chapter’s quarterly magazine.
DC Metro Chapter Fundraiser for the ASID Foundation
The DC Metro Chapter is inviting all ASID members to a fundraiser for the ASID Foundation entitled, "The Revoutionary Interiors of Michael Taylor," featuring a luncheon, lecture and book signing by Stephen Salny, author of Michael Taylor Interior Design, on September 15 at the Washington Design Center.
