Antigua Furniture, Latin America’s premier custom furniture manufacturer, offers the opportunity to “Design Your Line.” The winner will design an exclusive line for Antigua Furniture that will be manufactured, promoted and sold through the Antigua catalog as well as in major markets around the U.S. and internationally. The line will feature:

                

• 5 custom pieces of furniture designed and named by the auction winner
• 2 trips (4 days/3 nights each) to la Antigua Guatemala, a beautiful colonial city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site (trips include all airfare, lodging and ground transportation).  The designer will work with the Antigua Furniture development team, stay in the five star Hotel Casa Santo Domingo, and awaken every morning to spectacular views of the tropical volcanoes that rise above the town’s centuries-old Spanish tile roofs.  Cobblestone streets are perfect for an evening stroll to one of the quaint cafes or delightful shops lining the central park of the city. 
• Inclusion of the designer in all promotional marketing and media outreach for the line introduction
• Line will be shown on Antigua’s showroom floor during the October 2008 High Point and January 2009 Las Vegas Markets.
• Professional photography of each individual piece as well as an environmental shot of the group, to be produced in Guatemala.

Limitations & Disclaimer:
This auction item opportunity is limited to one ASID member only.  The line must fall within Antigua Furniture’s manufacturing capabilities, and the designer will choose wood from Antigua Furniture’s current stock offerings.  Finishes must also fall under Antigua Furniture’s manufacturing capabilities.  Antigua reserves the right to use the furniture for display purposes for up to one year after market introduction, after which time the pieces will be released to the winner of the auction.  Airfare for travel is based on coach class tickets, and dates for planned travel will be approved by both Antigua Furniture and winner of auction. Antigua Furniture reserves the right to sell the line as a stocking item.  No royalties will apply and the auction winner will release all use of the designs to Antigua Furniture. Interviews and photo opportunities available upon request
